Hendrik Jacobus "Henrico" Bruwer (27 May 1970), known as Henrico Bruwer is an Archiect, Conceptual designer and Artist, born in Vrede, Free State, South Africa
Bruwer is a result orientated senior conceptual designer and architect with strong passion and appreciation for design and detail. He has a track record of achievement in managing architectural and construction projects from inception to completion, including conceptual, design refining, planning and client/contractor interactions. Background and ability to develop interior spaces well integrated with base building and surroundings. Expertise in corporate, industrial and multifamily residential project management. Offering diverse perspective and innovative solutions that communicate visually: Ability to express ideas through a wide range of media. Innovative professional capable of creating dynamic designs independently and in collaboration with associates and clients.

Henrico Bruwer was born on 27 May 1970 in Vrede, a village close to Standerton, in the Free State Province in Mid South Africa. He was the latest child of Hendrik Jacobus "Hennie" Bruwer, a farmer, and Maria Catharina "Marietjie" Marx. Henrico was given the name of his grandfather. Henrico received his degree in architecture at the University of the Orange Free State in 1997. Art and architecture were not occupations towards the Bruwer family gravitated. His sister, Tjarlyn, was born on 7 May 1967.
Henrico was a serios and thoughtful child. He attended the Fred Wenzel boarding school from 1977, where a handfull of teachers taught around 250 pupils. From 1983 he attend the Vrede High boarding school where he matriculated in December 1988. Henrico's interet in art began at an early age. he began to draw as a child and finished his first painting at the age of 7 years. He continued making drawings throughout the years leading to his dicision to become an architect and artist. Tough well-done and impressive, his early drawings do not approach the intensity he developed in his later work. He share the same comment on his early years as Vincint van Gogh: "My youth was gloomy and cold and sterile".
In February 1988 he attend the school of architeture in Bloemfontein in the Orange Free State. This was a happy time for Henrico; he was successful in his studies and become a leader in his pear groop. this was the happiest years of his life and he obtain numerous mentions. Henrico already draw attention as esentric and dandy.

Bruwer produced over 500 paintings and schetches in his career in addition to producing illustrations for books, airbrushes, architectural artis impressions (perspectives), a great number of drawings, and various other projects, including an advertisment for MNet. Below is a chronological sample of important and representative work, as well as some notes on what Bruwer did in particular years. In his Last Supper, Sexualism, Surrealism, and Me, produced with a collaboration of Photographs, he makes it clear that he never stopped being a surrealist, never conform to the norm. As Bruwer said of himself: "to the brainchild, whatever you choose is right, the power is yours"
